Robin Palmer has joined furniture innovator WallGoldfinger has its communications director.
A native of Randolph Center, Palmer holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism from St. Michael’s College in Colchester. She worked as a newspaper writer and editor in Vermont and Massachusetts for 15 years starting in her high school years, throughout college and beyond.
Her work earned her a variety of writing and photography awards.
In 2006, she transitioned to hospital marketing and communications, and this month moved to WallGoldfinger for its reputation as both a high-quality furniture producer and high-quality employer looking to grow jobs locally.
“Supporting local is vitally important to me,” Palmer said. “WallGoldfinger stands apart as an innovator of world-class products, created in our backyard.
“Few communities can claim a local asset like WallGoldfinger. Now I get to be a part of some truly amazing local talent. That is beyond exciting.”
As part of the WallGoldfinger team, Palmer will be working to build the company’s brand through a variety of media as well as supporting the company’s growth and success.
“We have been quietly producing some of the world’s finest corporate office furniture for more than four decades,” said John Wall, owner and chief executive officer. “It is exciting to have Robin on board to better let both locals and our clients nationally know more about the quality products we produce and the amazing staff that creates them.”
Palmer lives in Randolph Center with her daughter, Ayla, 10. In her free time, Palmer is a Girl Scout leader, a freelance writer, a photographer, makes jewelry and cares for what she deems “too many” animals, including a handful of chickens and a variety of pets.
