WallGoldfinger, a maker of high-end corporate furniture in Randolph, Vt., has expanded its sales representation to North Carolina and South Carolina, and has new representation in Chicago.
WallGoldfinger distributes furniture nationally. In addition to a sales force at the Vermont factory, the 44-year-old company has contracted representatives in New York, Washington, D.C., and throughout the Midwest. Starting earlier this year, that representative team grew to the Southeast through the addition of Hunter Zalecki Group and expanded in the Midwest through Seibold Baker Associates.
Based in Charlotte, N.C., Hunter Zalecki Group is comprised of business partners Jack Hunter and Linsey Zalecki.
“We’re thrilled to have Jack and Linsey aboard. Certainly customers from around the country can call us at the factory to work with a sales representative here, but having local representation provides clients a source with whom to work face to face on achieving just the right look for a corporate space.
“Jack and Linsey further bring remarkable expertise in corporate furniture sales and interior design, not to mention extensive knowledge of the area,” said John Wall, owner and chief executive officer of WallGoldfinger.
A graduate of North Carolina State University, Hunter is highly experienced in the industry, starting his career as a sales representative at R.L. Bryan Co. in Columbia, S.C., climbing through the ranks at Knoll Inc. in Charlotte, and serving as a vice president at first HBF in Hickory, N.C., and then Carolina Business Interiors in Charlotte.
An interior designer by degree, Zalecki got her start as a design assistant at Corporate Interiors in Johnson City, Tenn., and for the last decade has worked as first a director of project services and then senior project manager at Carolina Business Interiors in Charlotte.
Together they have launched Hunter Zalecki Group.
“We’re excited to not only be starting what we know will be an industry leader in corporate furniture sales but to be representing such a high quality product,” said Hunter.
The company’s mission is to provide clients an experienced and trusted partner to bring reliable, high-quality products that enhance business environments and meet business needs, said Hunter. “WallGoldfinger’s furniture is an excellent match for this business model and the modern and the historic corporations and organizations that make up this growing and populous region of the country.”
In addition, WallGoldfinger is now represented in Chicago by Seibold Baker, specifically Ed Connealy, principal-in-charge, and Ingrid Idso and Emily Weber, business development managers.
Connealy is an experienced sales professional in Chicago, having worked as a partner in a representative organization and managed sales for companies such as Geiger and Knoll Textiles. Idso previously worked at HNI Corp and Weber for Knoll Textiles.
An experienced representative firm first started in 1971, Seibold Baker already represents WallGoldfinger in Ohio, Kentucky, Michigan and Indiana. The move to Chicago is an expansion for Seibold Baker.
“It’s an exciting time for Seibold Baker,” said Seibold Baker partner Marty Baker. “To be able to expand in to the greater Chicago market with our trusted partner WallGoldfinger enables us to offer our key specifiers an unrivaled design and manufacturing leader when it comes to custom solutions for a variety of executive, conference and reception settings.
“WallGoldfinger has propelled us into new markets and truly helped us grow our business. The opportunity to expand with this key partner is a great one, and Chicago and the greater Illinois market will soon be learning more about these remarkable craftspeople.”
“Seibold Baker’s enthusiasm and expertise is unmatched. We could not be more excited to have this remarkable team now representing us in Chicago. This expanded relationship will build awareness of our made in Vermont furniture in the Midwest and provide area architects and end users a trusted local resource in Seibold Baker,” said Wall.
