Mixed Media Masterpiece


Working with the designers in G3's New York office, WallGoldfinger created suites of furniture for two East Coast branches of a major international financial institution. Aesthetic continuity in both spaces was the mission and this was achieved through use of a broad ranged palette of materials.


Here we have a 20' 0" conference table, a wall unit, and a stone-topped serving counter, all using quartered figured English sycamore as the unifying veneer. The tables center inserts are back lit, translucent, laminated glass. Other materials include stainless steel, and "Emerald Pearl" granite.


The table bases are fabricated "Chemetal" clad panels and feature etched laminated glass mirror inserts. Doors allow access for wiring.



A dramatically curved reception desk features the same mix of materials.


Adjacent to the tables in the conference spaces are service counters mounted above the convector units. Stainless steel uprights support the durable “Emerald Pearl” granite counter top.
