We Are Flattered

It's an honor to find our furniture in a piece of landmark architecture. Such is the case here with our executive furniture in the new IAC building in New York, a remarkable design by the acclaimed Frank Gehry.

Arbor legs attached using a toggle anchor system

We executed several of the pieces in the executive spaces of IAC, including this unique egg-shaped boardroom table. Designed by Studios, the table seats nineteen people; each person has a drawer with a flip-up monitor contained within. In addition, there are three berm mounted "cable cubbies" to service other pieces of equipment brought to the table. Finally, the berm contains individual microphones and, at the head of the table, a microphone control panel.

The table features a rich combination of natural materials: Redwood burl, khaya and mahogany veneers and mahogany solids, all under a high gloss, full-filled polyester finish. To provide a comfortable writing surface, the work areas are finished in distressed leather.
